AVMR wins significant Torsion Bush contract with Global Shock Absorber brand
AVMR is pleased to announce a further significant contract to manufacture and supply torsion bushes to a well known global shock absorber brand.
The initial order of circa 35,000 units will be delivered over the next 3 months.
On a recent visit, the customer highlighted AVMR’s progressive approach to the relationship, in house skillset, and engineering capabilities as some of the reasons they had been selected for the contract.
AVMR has manufactured torsion bushes for over 20 years and we can safely say that these bushes will experience an unusually aggressive environment. Therefore, these parts had to be engineered and manufactured to an unusually high standard.
AVMR Director, Daniel Lawes, commented that “This is fantastic news for us and for our customer. Balancing the high grades of materials required whilst maintaining a flexible supply chain was tough. We worked hard to generate multiple options for the customer, and are pleased to have found the right solution for them. The relationship is built on solid engineering capabilities, and an open and honest business relationship. I look forward to building a strong relationship with this customer.”
