AA Failsafe Vibration Isolator Mount - Pedestal - Overview

The AA mount is a very popular pedestal mount for those requiring a vibration isolator pedestal mount with the added security of the Alumimium failsafe structure.

This Vibrostop pedestal mount is manufactured by our sister company in the EU. 

The failsafe design prevents detachment of the mounted appliance even if the elastomers should become completely destroyed (excl. fires).  The sheltered design also provides protection for the elastomer contributing to extended service life.

Applications that can benefit from the isolating features of this mount include rotating machines (motors, pumps and compressors), machine tools and electrical panels.

The failsafe structure does reduce the products ability to handle or tolerate lateral loads, where performance limitations are tighter than for pedestal mount which do not have the failsafe structure, like our 8050FP range of mounts, for example.

Materials:

• Rubber: Blended elastomer.
• Metals: Aluminium, which can be given a galvanic treatment which brings it into line with MIL STD 202, method 101.

• This product is typically on a 3-week lead time but in holiday seasons this grows to circa 6 weeks.
• daN (deca Newtons) is equivalent to 1.019kg static at sea level.
