Product Information
Description
The AAT anti-vibration mounts, supplied with an eyelet attachment, are used for suspending pipes, ducting, heat exchangers (fans), speakers and ceilings.
The use of a rubber vibration isolator in the suspension of these components allows the interruption of vibration and noise transmission routes, which are sometimes overlooked once the primary source (such as a pump or a UTA) has been isolated.
The external aluminium alloy structure makes the AA isolator resistant to accidental overloads and protects elastomer parts from direct exposure to atmospheric agents, increasing its reliability and service life.
Whilst this product can tolerate vibration in all directions, it is designed to be loaded in tension.
To a certain extent, this product is failsafe, that is, if the rubber undergoes complete degradation the load will not be dropped.
Features / benefits
- load capacity range from 20 to 480 daN
- specifically designed for the isolation of hanging loads
- multi-directional operation: compression, tension and shear
- elastomer protection: high resistance to environmental agents
- highly secure fixing (separate from the rubber part)
- availability of spare parts with possible replacement of the elastomeric component alone
- detachable and recyclable light alloy parts
Materials:
- Rubber: Blended elastomer.
- Metals: Aluminium
Note:
- This product is typically on a 3-week lead time but in holiday seasons this grows to circa 6 weeks.
- daN (deca Newtons) is equivalent to 1.019kg static at sea level.
