What is a Lightweight Failsafe Anti Vibration mount?
This Lightweight Failsafe Anti Vibration mount a Pedestal Isolator - One end typcally fixes to the vibration source via the single thread while the other end is mounted to the floor, or base. These particular mounts are a popular option for Air Conditioning units and the wider HVAC market, especially on vehicles.
The failsafe aspect to the structure means that if the rubber disintegrates the structure will not immediately fall apart - there is a mechanical backup holding the structure together.
We manufacture and assemble these parts in the UK.
Whilst this product has a high tolerance to lateral loads, it has only been tested in compression to date.
