Description
Steering column bushings (or bushes) are used on the steering column to remove high frequency vibrations while allowing the steering column to rotate smoothly.
We use a rubber outer skin to absorb vibration and to hold the bushing in place (via the lugs). This skin is bonded to a lightweight metal tube in order to hold the structure in place - as per standard SAB bushing design. Finally, we line the inside of the metal tube with a very low friction plastic liner.
The result, is a steering column bush which is used on everything from tractors to many kit cars and Supercars.
We have two sizes of steering column bushes, this is the smaller one. We will add the larger one shortly.
