Premium Lightweight Pedestal Mount (5 - 58daN)

This Premium rubber pedestal mount is a high deflection variant, and is ideal for lightweight applications including HVAC systems such as heat pumps and air conditioning units.

Whilst these mounts are commonly loaded in compression, they have a high tolerance to lateral deflection and can be used in partial shear - we would not recommend loading them in 100% shear or in tension.

These mounts are manufactured in the UK to a particularly high standard; Metals are bonded to rubber using a 2 layer bonding system (most manufacturers use a single layer system).  The advantage of this approach is longevity of the bond, particularly in more environmentally challenging conditions.  All rubbers used on standard products are designed to an MVEE (military) standard or an equivalent equivalent British Standard (e.g. BS1154).

We also have a unistrut adaption kit which enables this to work on Unistrut channel as is used when mounting HVAC systems on the sides or roofs of buildings.

When installing this product:

• The two mounting surfaces must be fully covered to ensure that the rubber is worked appropriately.
• The interfacing surfaces should smooth, parallel and solid.
• Unistrut kit should be used if mounting this product on Unistrut.

In its standard form, this product uses the following materials:

• Rubber: Natural Rubber based elastomer
• Metals: Zinc plated mild steel
