- These mounts are classed as premium due to the tight controls over the rubber compounds making spring rates more repeatable than found with standard products.

AVMR's Premium Cylindrical Rubber Bobbin mounts are made at our factory in the UK, using tight tolerance materials. We can offer bespoke versions of these products and conduct 100% quality checks if required.
Whilst a waisted rubber bobbin mount can provide greater levels of deflection, smaller waisted mounts are difficult to Engineer for consistency. Therefore, our smaller premium bobbins are cylindrical.
In the datasheet for these products there is advice on using bobbins.
These bobbins mounts use a Natural Rubber base compound along with plated mild steel metals. The plating is either standard zinc or sherardize.
The smallest mounts in this series are not recommended for compressive loading due to the close proximity of the ends of the threads. We therefore only recommend using these products in shear or as flexible connectors.
