Description
The simple shear brackets mount is an effective high deflection mount, ideally suited to lower frequency applications. These are typically used in at least 3+ units around the centre of mass for stability.
These bonded mounts work the rubber in shear rather than in compression, so they offer considerably higher levels of deflection than comparably sized compression mounts. This is useful for lower frequency applications.
AVMR manufacture these items in Wiltshire, UK and can tailor requirements for custom versions, if required.
Materials used for the default products are:
- Metals: Mild steel with sherardized (zinc) plating.
- Rubber: Natural rubber based compounds (BS1154)
